Dear Friends, November is Thanksgiving month, and we have so much to be thankful for. Thank you for your continued prayers and support of our ministry. We deeply appreciate it. This past year, many of our plans had to change due to the pandemic. But in the midst of this, God has been faithful and opened new ministry opportunities for us. External circumstances may constantly change, but if we have eyes of faith and trust Him, He makes rivers in the desert and paths in the wilderness. We wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving, and the peace and joy of Jesus throughout the Christmas season. Blessings, Doris & the ORTV Family
Our First Musical: “The Journey of Love” In January, we will be debuting in Taiwan our first musical ever, “The Journey of Love”. The musical will bring to the stage for the first time the life story and missionary journey of Doris Brougham. Studio Classroom teachers and Heavenly Melody will take part in this production. Through Doris’ story, we hope to share the message of God’s boundless love with thousands who would not likely attend church on their own. We also pray that the musical will inspire many young people to fully commit their lives to Christ and become missionaries themselves or follow God’s call on their lives, like Doris did when she made a promise at 12 years old to become a missionary to the Chinese, and followed through with that commitment for over 70 years. Please pray this musical will touch many in the audience, and many will come to Christ. We will save a portion of the tickets for seminary students, and kids and youth from underprivileged groups to attend for free. Christmas Concerts Move Online Due to the pandemic, this year we will not be holding in-person Christmas concerts around the island, but will hold an online Christmas concert instead. Praise God for technology that allows us to reach people around Taiwan and the world for Him. Join our LIVE Christmas concert on Friday, 12/17, 8:00-9:15 pm Taipei time.
