ANGUILLA ANIMAL RESCUE FOUNDATION Island Books was founded in 2004 by Heidi Hughey, a long-term Anguilla enthusiast who partnered with the Alwyn Allison Primary School's Art Egel after a visit to the school. Together, they envisioned creating a programme under the simple notion that each visitor could bring a children’s book in their beach bag. Island Books has brought over one thousand new and used books to Anguilla's school children and reaches every single primary school. You can find out more, including locations for dropping the books, by visiting their website: www.islandbooks.yolasite.com
