Invocation Great Mother, open our hearts and let us know again the goodness of the world. Help us shed these lizard skins and prise the rusted armor from our eyes. Too long we have clung to the false creed of barbed wire and fences, lain on stone floors and cowered in the darkness of cellars. Our cupboards are bare, our gourds are empty. Great Mother, unfurl our senses and let our bodies drink the warm kiss of the sun. Let our ears buzz with news of the creatural kingdoms, our eyes grow drunk on the green wine of rain. Lower the drawbridge. Break open the dungeons. Call your servants from the kitchens and crown them as queens and kings. Great Mother, grant us your blessing to re-wild this land with your longing. Steer our hearts so thy will be done. Let the sacred hoop be mended. Let wolf music ring from the forests 31
