In-mold labeling (IML): Orianaa Decorpack

In-mold labeling (IML) is a process used to produce molded plastic products with a high-quality, graphic print on the surface. The IML process involves injecting a pre-printed plastic film label into a mold cavity, where it is then thermally fused to the plastic surface during the molding process. The result is a highly durable and vibrant print that is integrated into the surface of the product, rather than being just a surface print.

IML is commonly used in the production of consumer goods such as food containers, household goods, and consumer electronics. This process provides several benefits, including cost savings, improved product durability, and enhanced graphic quality compared to traditional surface printing methods. Additionally, the IML process is more environmentally friendly as it eliminates the need for secondary labeling operations and reduces waste.
