Our Tiny Tumblers class teach both the fundamentals of tumbling and classroom participation. Through a variety of fun activities your student will learn to cartwheel, roll, listen, follow directions, work independently and cooperate with others. Our fun style of fitness will leave them eager to return!

Beginner/Novice

Age: 5-12

BEGINNER-This entry level tumbling class is designed to teach basic skills and technique needed to safely progress in this dynamic sport. Cartwheels and handstands, power and grace, this exciting class offers an hour of nonstop fun and fitness.

NOVICE-Mastered the basics? Ready for a new challenge? Then this is the SPOT for you! Our Novice tumbling class will continue to challenge your tumbler with introduction of limbering skills and handsprings. This is a faster paced class.

Nerf Night for Kids

Age: 6-12 • Date: Th 10/26

Time: 6:00-7:30 pm

Fee: $5/$6 NR

Battle it out with Nerf. Compete in games like Capture the Flag and Freefor-All Combat as well as do some target practice. Bring your own Nerf guns (no rival series guns please) and safety glasses. We will provide the bullets. Label all your equipment with your name. Oregon Park District is not responsible for lost or damaged guns, bullets or eye protection.

Grown-up Nerf Night

Age: 18+

Date: Fri, 11/3

Time: 6:00-8:00 pm

Fee: $5/$6 NR

Who says that only kids can play with toys? Join us for an adults only night of nerf action fun. We will have capture the flag for fun and target shooting challenges for prizes. Oregon Park District will supply the darts and the targets. Participants must wear safety glasses and bring their own nerf-brand guns. All participants must be 18 years of age or older and have graduated high school. No rival series guns.

Family Storybook Adventures: Mighty Monarchs

Location: Lorado Taft Campus

Fee: $13/$16 NR

Some small animals do amazing things, and our own monarch butterflies are starting their annual journey all the way to Mexico. Join us at the Lorado Taft Field Campus for a pizza dinner and story reading all about the beautiful monarch butterfly. Then, meet some amazing monarchs in person and send them off on their yearly migration. Children 3 and under are free but must register.

Owl-O-Ween Nightwalk

Open to All Ages

Whooo comes out at night? Join us at LOMC for an evening filled with the real-life birds that have probably inspired many ghost stories. We will learn about some of the unique owl adaptations that make them superb nocturnal predators, learn how to recognize our most common owls by sound, and head out into the forest to practice listening for wild owls. This program is open to all ages; please dress for the weather, bring a flashlight, and be prepared for a hike of roughly 1.5 miles. Registration is free but required as we will be guests on LOMC property. Sponsored by E.D. Etnyre & Co.

Do you wish you could join in the Nerf fun at Nash? Here’s your chance!

This event is for families, fees are per person. We will start the evening with 45 minutes of free play with target shooting available. Then we will have the second 45 minutes for a tag style game with parents vs. kids. May the best age group win! Everyone who attends must be registered. Humans vs Zombies Jr High Game Night

Age: 6th-8th Graders

Date: Sat 10/28

Time: 6:30-8:30 pm

Location: Park West Lower Shelter

Fee: $5/$6 NR

Humans vs zombies is the perfect game to play on Halloween weekend. This special after-dark game night in Oregon Park West will give students in grades 6-8 the chance to complete a fun team survival challenge while fighting zombies at night. There will be prizes for winning teams. Students may request to be on a team with friends, otherwise teams will be randomly assigned. Students should bring a flashlight and dress for the weather.
