Dan Jolivet, Ph.D.

Workplace Possibilities Practice Consultant, The Standard Dan Jolivet is the workplace possibilities practice consultant at The Standard, where he provides leadership, analysis, and consultative insights into the workplace possibilities service line. He provides specialized focus on behavioral health, stay at work, return to work, ADAAA services, health management integration, and other related employer solutions. He is a clinical psychologist licensed in Georgia and Oregon, and he has worked in behavioral health since 1980. He joined The Standard in 2016 as the Behavioral Health Director Prior to joining The Standard, Dan worked in managed behavioral health care organizations for 20 years in a variety of management roles and was in clinical practice as a child psychologist until 2003.

Julie Magers

Family Engagement & Support Specialist, OHSU Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Julie Magers works in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division at OHSU, striving to improve care for youth and families experiencing mental and behavioral health crisis. She is part of OHSU’s Outcomes and Technical Assistance Team for the Crisis and Transition Services (CATS) program and is President of the Oregon Family Workforce Association, which serves to unify and advance the family peer support profession. Julie was instrumental in the development of break-through mental health laws in Oregon that address transitions of care from hospital crisis settings to community-based treatment and person-centered supports. She was a member of the multi-stakeholder group that created Oregon’s first Youth Suicide Intervention and Prevention Plan in 2015 and is now a member of the Alliance to Prevent Suicide, which oversees the plan’s implementation. Awards include the SAMHSA Voice Award (2016) and the OCCAP Advocate of the Year Award (2017) for her high-profile work in elevating the voice of families and empowering effective advocacy for their loved ones’ safe and fair treatment. Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Regulatory Affairs, Moda Health Dave Nesseler-Cass is Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Regulatory Affairs at Moda Health and Delta Dental of Oregon and Alaska. Dave oversees the compliance program for all lines of medical and dental business including commercial, Medicare and Medicaid plans. He is also responsible for maintaining relationships with regulators and advocates on the company’s behalf regarding regulatory policy issues. He currently serves on the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services Insurance Advisory Committee and has served on various other regulatory workgroups. Dave holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Illinois and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Portland State University. He is also a volunteer board member for the American Cancer Society’s Oregon and Southwest Washington Area. Dave has worked on health insurance compliance and regulatory issues since 2005.

Chief Medical Officer, First Choice Health John W. Robinson, MD, SM, is currently the Chief Medical Officer for First Choice Health in Seattle, WA. In this role, he oversees First Choice Health’s Medical Management, Predictive Modeling within Health Care Analytics, and Quality programs. Dr. Robinson received his Bachelor’s degree from Gonzaga University, his MD degree from the Univ. of Utah, and his Master’s degree from Harvard School of Public Health. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Robinson is an adjunct faculty member at Gonzaga University and has taught courses in the MBA program at the Graduate School of Business. In 2011 he was appointed by the Governor of the State of Washington to be one of the original members of the Bree Collaborative in which public and private health care stakeholders can work together to improve quality, health outcomes, and cost effectiveness of care in Washington State. In 2019 and 2020 Fierce Healthcare and Fast Company published articles about his work concerning prescription opioid use reports for self-insured employers.
