GOOD Energy

Fairgoers of all ages can learn about energy and innovative applied technologies in Energy Park. Individuals, non-profits and commercial organizations are here to share a wide range of expertise, knowledge and materials.

GETTING THERE (& BACK)

The OCF is purchasing the fare for the entire LTD bus system for the Fair weekend. You don’t need a ticket and you don’t have to be going to the Fair (although we don’t know why you wouldn’t!) in order to get a free fare to the Fair. Although, you will need a Fair ticket or appropriate credential to access the Fair site. Make sure you have yours before you take that free ride. The LAST BUS LEAVES THE FAIR SITE AT 7:30! LTD schedules are available at ltd.org or by calling (541) 687-5555.

TIME TRAVEL!

Alter Abled? 4A promotes equal access for all Fair-goers. Find them in the Dragon’s Head at the Fair entrance to help support your Fair experience.

Look What’s New!

There is a new and wonderful spot to visit at the Fair: Xavanadu! Look for it on the map, it is easy to find and located close to the Fair entrance. Officially in its second year, newly-named Xavanadu offers earthly delights, in and out of the shade of magnificent oak trees. There are large art installations to engage and entertain you. Get moving on the beautiful wood floor of the dance pavilion. Or watch Swing, Contra, African and more. Explore the flow arts. Play some mini golf—Country Fair style. Xavanadu will have returning and new food booths—try some empanadas or a raw food treat! Look for several new Artisans. The Stewardship will engage you with the Fair’s efforts to care for the site and the earth. And when you are ready for a rest, check out the Visionary Lounge, a magical world under a tree. Or how about relaxing around the baby grand piano, smack in the center of things? Visit Xavanadu. It is a magnificent new place for us to play, learn, explore, eat and kick back.
