Purpose of this Handbook

Ladies and Gentlemen of Orchard Lake Country Club,

Welcome to Orchard Lake Country Club! For over 97 years, our Club has prided itself on being a “family tradition” with a deliberate focus on maintaining the highest standards for the entire family. Orchard Lake is a place to create memories and form lifelong friendships. This is your Club, your home away from home.

The Bylaws of the Club provide that the Board of Governors has the power to make rules for the Club and its members. All rules and policies in this Handbook have been approved by the Board and shall be binding upon all classes of members.

To that end, we have created this Handbook to both (1) define the rules and etiquette requirements at our Club, and (2) provide helpful information on how to maximize your experience using the Club. The purpose is to honor our history and traditions, protect and enhance our member experience, and support our staff who make it all possible. It provides the foundation for achieving our mission of being the“Premier Family Club in the Midwest!”

We ask for your support by reading this Handbook and ensuring that you, your family and your guests abide by it.
