5 Things to Do with Mum on Mother’s Day

This Mother’s Day, it’s time to treat your mum or mother figure in your life! If you’re looking to plan a day she won’t forget, here are some ideas to get you started.
1. Breakfast in bed
Get mum’s day off to a great start by letting her wake up to the sweet, fragrant smell of pancakes and a cuppa in bed. Take the stress off mum and let her enjoy a nice, cooked brekky from the comfort of her covers!
2. Picnic
Keeping with the food trend, why not plan a picnic? Start with a nice walk to your local park or indulge in a scenic stroll until you find the ideal spot to set up. Make sure you pack mum’s favourite treats and a picnic rug! Then sit back, relax, and enjoy the fresh air.
3. Winery
If your mum knows her Pinot from her Pino Grigio, why not take her to the local winery? Grab some lunch and taste all they have to offer and then walk it off between the vineyards while you take some family pics!

4. Spa day
Sometimes, mum needs a moment to herself to relax. If she’s due for some pampering, head down to your nearest hot springs or spa salon. Get a massage, manicure, or pedicure and relax with mum.
5. Surprise day trip
Catch mum off-guard with a spontaneous family day trip somewhere nearby. Plan the day accordingly so you’re not entirely winging Mother’s Day. This might mean making a reservation at a lovely cafe or restaurant and looking at how to get there well in advance.
