Taylah Donchos – Service Reception

I joined the Porsche Centre Brighton team after working in a similar role at a Toyota dealership, and really enjoy meeting our clients. I’m from a military background, as a non-active reservist in the Australian Air Force. My parents’ work took them to Vanuatu, while I went to boarding school in Australia. On one visit to Vanuatu, Cyclone Pam did tremendous damage, and I remember seeing the Globe Master airplanes from the Australian Air Force delivering aid. I knew I wanted to be a part of that, so I did the Air Force gapyear program, then went to be a technician on F-18 Super Hornet jet fighters. I find having a mechanical background helps me to fly high in my role here.

Andrew Kennedy – from Porsche Service Technician to Porsche Service Advisor

Andrew qualified as a Porsche Service Technician, having completed his whole apprenticeship at Porsche Centre Brighton. ‘I was looking for an opportunity to learn more about the business’, he recounts. When the Porsche Service Advisor position became available, Andrew made the move. ‘I really enjoy meeting the owners of the cars I’ve been working on. I have a whole new perspective and am learning new skills that will serve me well in this business,’ he says.
