Australia’s Insulating Glass Unit (IGU) industry has undergone a transformative evolution since its emergence in the 1990s. From just seven IGU producers in 1997, Australia’s industry has exponentially grown to 107 producers as of 2023. At the helm of our operations stands Sandro Ianni, the Managing Director who in August 1996, ignited the journey of Elegant I.G. with the ambitious dream of supplying top-notch insulating glass unit components to Australian manufacturers. Sandro, along with his wife Lily and a part-time warehouse assistant, began a venture centred on quality and unparalleled service. The trio’s commitment soon drew an expanding clientele.

Fast-forwarding through decades of exponential growth, Sandro is now ably supported by key personnel: Simon Ianni, General Manager; Joshua Ianni, Operations Manager; and Lido Russo, Business Development Manager. This leadership team is bolstered by a remarkable group of administrative, technical support, and warehouse professionals. From its modest beginnings in a small space, Elegant I.G. graduated to a 1,300 sqm warehouse in Belrose, expanding its team with specialised staff. In 2023 with the opening of a 1300 sqm warehouse in Truganina, Victoria our team is expanding to 12. This expansion in manpower and footprint underlines our dedication to catering to our everincreasing customer base across Australia. Our Sydney headquarters remains a focal point, soon to host the Sparklike calibration service centre, a stateof-the-art facility serving Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.

Elegant’s flagship head office at Belrose is 30 minutes from Sydney’s CBD.

The 1300-sqm site is spread across three warehouses and serves as a pivotal point for our operations, particularly our valued customers in NSW and Queensland.

Recognising the growing demand and in line with our commitment to regional expansion, July saw the inauguration of another state-of-the-art 1300 sqm warehouse facility in Truganina, Victoria. This facility is not just an extension of our capabilities but a strategic move to better service our clientele in the southern states and Western Australia.
