AFFILIATE OFFER AIMS TO BUILD NETWORK BESA has revamped and expanded the range of benefits it offers to affiliate members by introducing a new tiered system.
The Association is keen that its membership reflects the evolving nature of the industry’s supply chain and growing opportunities for collaboration. It is, therefore, looking to extend the number and range of companies who wish to be affiliated with its work and the specialist contractors who make up its core membership. The membership team under the leadership of Wayne Terry has developed a scheme that offers affiliates access to a wide range of benefits and opportunities to work with the Association and its members. The BESA Affiliate scheme is tiered, designed to support the varying needs and interests of our Affiliates. The Bronze Affiliate level is the baseline of the scheme, with the Silver, Gold and Platinum levels progressively adding more benefits and higher percentages of discount, as well as giving opportunities for regional and national brand exposure. Affiliate certificates and the use of special BESA logos are available to all ranks of affiliates along with a rising scale of discounts on advertising on the Association’s website and in the annual BESA Book and quarterly Your BESA magazine.

Affiliate members are also able to take part in or sponsor BESA regional and specialist technical group meetings. They will, depending on their level of membership, have the opportunity to present to groups of BESA members and deliver CPD training. “Networking and exchanging technical and market intelligence is an increasingly important part of the modern building engineering services sector,” said BESA’s director of membership Wayne Terry. “We have developed our new affiliate membership scheme with a view to growing a collaborative network of design engineers; manufacturers and suppliers; contractors and building maintainers that will be of mutual benefit to all parts of the supply chain. “As well as the clear benefits to those firms who want to do business with our existing members, we see major advantages too for the core membership in having access to the knowledge, expertise and technology of affiliates.” See table for full list of affiliate member benefits and costs.
