Three positions to properly begin one's vacation and relax. You should never be in pain, focus on your alignment, and never go over your limits to respect and take care of your body. Breathing is essential for every position, as well as a crucial part of an everyday, healthy lifestyle.
Practice 8 breaths (inhale/exhale) in each position. Breathe in through the nose and try to regulate the length of your inhales and exhales.
1 Chaturanga Dandasana or the Plank
This position tones the body and allows an overall deep strengthening of the body. Start with a high plank then bend your elbows, keeping them close to your sides. Push both of your heels back, and keep your head forward to fully extend your back. Think about your body as a straight plank. Focus on your breathing and practice a nice smile ensuring it is internal towards yourself as well.
