First-year commerce; forward men’s soccer I definitely fear bugs the most. I hate bugs. They’re small, they can get into places. Matteo Cimellaro: What bugs do you fear the most? PZ: Earwigs, spiders, ants, centipedes. Oh my gosh, I hate centipedes so much.

MIKAELA MACDONALD First-year criminal justice and public policy; center women’s rugby Open bodies of water; they’re just scary. You don’t know what’s in them. Lakes and oceans — ewwhh (shudders).

CHRISTINE FLAHERTY Third-year animal biology; women’s rowing Snakes. They just don’t have legs, they’re slimy, I can’t see them, they don’t make a noise. MC: Even pet snakes? CF: I hate snakes.

SEAN MACLEAN Fifth-year marketing management; center field men’s baseball [My] big fear is going from a team environment and going into the real world and not having that same sense of team.

RYAN FREEMANTLE First-year master’s in environmental sciences; center field men’s baseball [As an athlete], my biggest fear is getting injured — I went through that this year. In life, [my biggest fear] is not reaching someone’s expectations. If someone thinks something of you and you don’t make that, or if you think something of yourself and you don’t make that [it’s terrifying].
