Guidelines

Check-In/Out: Always check in and out when you arrive and depart. RVs................ Check-out time is 11:00 am Rentals................ Check-in time is 3:00 pm & Check-out time is 11:00 am Check-In Office......9:00 am to 8:00 pm Daily Quiet Hours: 10:00 pm to 8:00 am please. Office Hours:. Business Office - 9:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Saturday Store Hours: June Hours 9:00 am to 6:00 pm - July/August Hours 8:00 am to 7:00 pm Speed Limit: 10 mph throughout the Resort. No one under age 16 (must have driver’s license) is allowed to operate a vehicle, golf cart, motorcycle, mini-bike, 4 Wheeler or Razor. Sites: Prior approval must be obtained from Check-In/Reservation Office before changing sites. RVs may be MPH left unattended for a maximum of 48 hours. Please keep your site clean. When parking your RV, please have someone help you from the outside while backing in. Safety is top of the list. Please respect the privacy of others. Do not walk through their campsite. Tents are allowed in tent area only. Mowing and watering will take place periodically. We are not responsible for any damage to items left outside your unit. There are 2 electrical pedestals on your pull-thru site. Pull up to the second electric pedestal (unless told otherwise). Do not stop in the middle of the site. Additional Vehicles or Recreational Toys: No more than 1 at a site (if site allows room for one). All must be approved in Business Office. Check with Check-In/Reservation Office for convenient storage in area. Restrooms: Open 24 hours. Please help keep them clean. Supervision of children is a must. Laundry Room: Housekeeping may use machines periodically through the day. Quarters may be obtained from the Check-In Office. There is a change machine in the laundry room. No laundry to be allowed to line dry in the Resort. Mail/FedEx/UPS: Outgoing mail may be taken to the Mailbox in front of the Laundry. Incoming USPS mail may be picked up at the Leisure Valley Office after 3:00 pm. Incoming UPS packages will be delivered to your lot if the lot number and the street name is in your shipping address, otherwise it will be left at the Sales Office. Fedex will only deliver to the Office. Trash: Dumpsters are provided for use during your stay in the Resort. Lot Owners & Renters are not allowed to use dumpster; you need a trash bin (see Business Office). Disposal of large items, tree limbs and yard debris should be taken to Lincoln Co. landfill (two miles south of Thayne, turn east on Co. Rd. 127 one mile), Monday through Saturday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. For overnight guests, use the dumpster at the front of the resort during stay. The key for the dumpster is at the check-in office. Please do not stop your rig at the front of the resort when leaving to dump trash, as this is a congested area. Thank you for your assistance. Pool Hours: June 10:30 am to 6:00 pm - July/August 10:30 am to 7:30 pm. Lap Time 9:00 am to 9:45 am M-F. Water Aerobics 9:45 am to 10:30 am M-Sat, weather permitting. Food and drink are permitted in designated area only (check with attendant). No glass, shoes, pants, or cutoffs allowed in pool. No one under 14 is allowed in the Pool Area without an adult. There is a pool charge for people not registered and staying in the Resort. There are season passes and punch cards available. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed at the pool. Sauna: You must be 21 to use the Sauna. A deposit is required. Propane: Delivered to your site. See Check-In/Reservation Office for delivery days. Campfires: Allowed in the tent area only, and must be out by 11:00 pm. Campfires are for cooking purposes and shall not be large. No flames shall exceed 2 feet in height!! No fireworks are allowed in the Resort!! Children: Please take full responsibility for your children. Be aware of where they are and what they are doing at all times. Those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult in bathhouses, pool and at the community center/barn. Children are NOT allowed to drive Golf Carts. Equipment: Recreation equipment is available for check out at the Check-In/Reservation Office with a $5 deposit. Pro Shop Hours: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. No carts out after 5:00 pm. Tee times can be scheduled beginning Saturday 7:00 am for the following week. 307-883-2448 Goofy Bear Grill: Serves Breakfast and Lunch. Please call 307-883-4229 for breakfast hours. Lunch is served from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Pets: A pet walk is located in the field directly south of the Resort. Pets are not allowed in buildings, rental units, motel rooms, playgrounds, pool and non-pet designated areas. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and droppings must be picked up, bagged and disposed of appropriately. Dog Park: A Dog Park is located adjacent to the Pickleball Courts. The small dog park is for dogs 30 pounds or less; large dog park is open to dogs of all sizes. Owners must be 18 or older and remain at the dog park to supervise their dogs. Rentals: One night deposit required—refundable if canceled prior to 72 hours of arrival time of reservation. We have a 7-day cancellation policy for peak holidays such as 7/1 - 7/7; 7/22 - 7/28; 8/8 - 8/15; 8/29 - 9/7. Wireless Internet: See instructions on page 4 of this guide. Anyone who fails to comply with these rules will be asked to leave the Resort.

When you purchase a lot in the RV Park, you receive a warranty deed and title insurance just like you do in any real estate transaction, and become a member of the Country Club, which entitles you to free golfing (no green fees) on our 18 hole Executive Course. Most of the lots are 35’ x 65’. However, in the newer areas, you will find some larger lots (45’ x 65’). All lots have water, power, sewer; most lots also have phone connections. Prices range from $25,000 to $50,000. Our Sales/ Business Office has information on people to contact to place an order for a new Park Model to be delivered to your lot.

Always wear a helmet, eye protection and appropriate clothing. Always wear your seat belt, and keep the side nets and doors closed. Avoid excessive speeds and be careful on difficult terrain. We recommend that you complete the Recrational Off-Highway Vehicle (ROV) E-course. The free course is available at www.ROHVA.org. All SxS drivers should read the owner’s manual before operating the vehicle. Never drive after consuming drugs or alcohol, or on public roads. Driver and passengers must be tall enough for seat belt to fit property and to brace themselves with both feet firmly on the floor. Passenger must be able to grasp the grab bar with the seat belt on and both feet on the floor. Respect the environment when driving.

Attractions Intermittent Spring – Afton — North America’s only known cold water spring geyser and the largest of the three known fluctuating springs in the world. It is said that Indians traveled great distances to cure their ills by bathing in the ”spring that breathes.” Appearing as though the spring is being turned on and off manually, the intervals occur every 18 minutes during the fall and winter. The 45-minute hike along a well developed footpath to the spring also makes for splendid viewing of nature and wildlife. The 5-mile canyon drive along Swift Creek to the spring is spectacular in itself.

World’s Largest Elkhorn Arch – Afton — Constructed in 1958, the arch contains over 15 tons of antlers, totalling 3,011. The horns were picked up on the elk feeding grounds at Alpine and Jackson as the elk shed their horns every spring. The highest point of the arch reaches 24 feet high and spans Highway 89 for 75 feet.

Palisades Reservoir – Alpine — Consisting of 1.25M acre feet, the Salt River, Snake River, and Greys River converge here. It was completed in 1959, and forced the relocation of Alpine to its present location. It has excellent trout fishing and several public access boat ramps. CallAir Museum – Afton — Opened in 2008. This museum features the history of flight in Western Wyoming. Information videos, full-scale planes, snow planes and a wide range of model planes are on display.

Greys River Road — The Greys River Road is approximately 55 miles long and passes through some truly amazing country. The gravel road is open June through October. Access to the road is found at both the north and south ends of Star Valley.
