In the heartland of America, and minutes from the start of the Oregon Trail, we’re just off I-70. This beautiful KOA has great amenities. It is near lots of attractions and is the ideal spot to spend a night, a week, or your entire vacation. You can bring your RV, tent, or “rough” it in one of our comfortable cabins. Each of these site types also has “Deluxe” versions available. The covered wagon is another great experience. We have hand-dipped ice cream and pizza at our camp store and gift shop. Plus, we have lots to do! You can pan for gems, fossils, and sharks’ teeth at the Horseshoe Creek Mining Sluice. Come swim in the pool, jump on our giant jump pad or play some mini golf. We also offer 4 wheel pedal bikes for all ages and we even have a paved and safe race track to enjoy bikes, roller skates, skateboards or even to walk. Our 4-legged guests will love the dog park or our dog walk.

• We have city water and must purchase it. Please contact someone who will come in and wash your rig for you.
• There is a sink outside the rec hall and at the pavilion if you need to wash your dishes.
• Please watch for children! Speed limit: 10 mph.
• Smoking is not permitted in any campground building.
• Check-in time is 2 pm. Check-out time is 11 am; if you need more time, please make arrangements at the office.
• Tent site parking is for tenters only.
• Registered guests are responsible for the actions of their children and visitors.
• You may put your tied trash bags near either end of your site. We collect trash during daylight hours. Recycle bins are located in our trash area next to the propane tank.
• Quiet Hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.
• Visitors to the campground must check in to the office, and ALL GUESTS must leave by 10 pm.
• Maintain your site in a neat and orderly manner.
• All sewer hoses should be off the ground and at a steady decline to the inlet to allow drainage and protection from lawn equipment. Campground is not responsible for damage to sewer hoses.
• We supply fire rings for your use. If you have a fire ring at your site, please keep all fires within the fire rings. We just ask you to not throw trash in the fire rings and extinguish the fires before leaving or going in for the night. Due to the Emerald Ash Borer quarantine, firewood must not be brought in from outside the park. We do have firewood for sale at the office.

• Pool rules are posted. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult 18 or older. Visitors not paying campground fees are subject to a pool fee. There is no life guard on duty. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
• Laundry is available 24 hours a day. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please do not hang clothing or swimsuits on a rope/line to dry.
• This is a family campground. We do have children in our midst, so please be careful of language and keep alcohol beverages at your site. For everyone’s safety, please leave your firearms and fireworks at home. LOUD AND OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOR MAY LEAD TO EVICTION WITHOUT REFUND.
GUIDELINES FOR EVERYONE’S SAFETY & ENJOYMENT
• Gray water is to go into the sewer system, not on the ground. There is a dump station available for use.
• We want to see your child have a great time while staying with us. Please watch out for them while here. We encourage parents and grandparents to accompany their child while away from their site. When you stay together, you play together, making memories that you both will cherish later. All children and teens need to be at their site by 10 pm
• Site fees include an RV and one other vehicle. Visitors may use overflow parking. Do not park on the grass. Do not park in a site not assigned to you. No open trailers or watercraft may be stored in the campground. Ask about our storage area.
