Fort Myers BeachSunset party every night at the Fort Myers pier and Times Square at the south end of San Carlos, just over the big bridge. Miles of pet and family friendly beaches, with much to see, do and eat! Hop on the inexpensive trolley right across Summerlin Square Drive to the left, or pay to park near the beach. Dozens of beach access streets, and parking beach side off South Estero Blvd. See the area map on the other side of this guide. Check out the Fort Myers Beach Chamber website for information on lighted Christmas boat parades, sand castle competitions, Taste of the Beach festival, and many more fun events and entertainment.
Lakes Regional ParkIn the early morning, this is a great place to walk and see incredible birds and the occasional alligator. It is also a fun place to bike, picnic, and enjoy the seasonal farmers’ market.
Edison & Ford Winter Estates - 20 acres of historical buildings, historic gardens, the Edison Botanic Research Lab and the Estate’s Museum. The Estate’s Museum has hundreds of inventions, artifacts and special exhibits.
Manatee Park - Visit Manatee Park today and really enjoy seeing the manatees in winter months. Wonderful place.
Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve - Walking on boardwalks through the swamp, you are transported to Florida the way it used to be. Wildlife of all sorts.
Bonita Beach ParkBike to the beach or walk into Barefoot Beach. Nice walk, and a beautiful beach! A must-see beach that is tucked away. The homes along the road to the Beach are a sight to see in themselves, but the small beach has a great lunch hut. You will most likely see a turtle or two and have to watch that they are not hiding under the car to get some shade.
McGregor BoulevardMcGregor Boulevard is a beautiful street in Fort Myers. The street is lined on both sides with soaring Royal Palm trees and leads for miles from Downtown Fort Myers to Sanibel. A definite must-see is the annual Holiday House during Christmas season with all the holiday lights and decorations. The Edison Estate spans along both sides of McGregor.
1. ALL GUESTS must CHECK IN and CHECK OUT at the Registration Office upon arrival and departure.
2. ALL GUESTS must be registered at the Registration Office. Rates are based on one or two persons per site. (See rate sheet for charges.)
3. CHECK-IN TIME IS 1:00PM. CHECK-OUT TIME IS 11:00AM.
4. QUIET HOURS are from 10:00PM to 7:00AM.
5. CHANGING SITES is not permitted without permission from the office.
6. TENTS, TRUCK CAMPERS and POP UPS are not allowed. No converted school buses. All units older than 10 years must be approved by management. Units must be 26 feet or longer. No travel trailers or bumper pulls allowed during season; November 1st through April 30th.
7. PARKING in streets is prohibited. DO NOT park on vacant sites. Violators parking on vacant sites may be charged a one night rental fee. Travel Trailers are only allowed May 1st - September 30 th .
8. The SPEED LIMIT of 15 MPH must be observed at all times in the park. Please obey all traffic signs.
9. MUST HAVE CURRENT DRIVER’S LICENSE TO OPERATE GOLF CARTS ON GULF WATERS PROPERTY. QUIET HOURS MUST be observed. Permanently installed optional headlights and taillights are required for driving golf carts at night. ALL Golf Carts MUST be parked in DESIGNATED PARKING SITES ONLY and NOT ON GRASS. POSTED SPEED LIMITS MUST BE OBSERVED.
10. PETS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES and kept in designated pet areas. ONLY 2 pets per site. The pet owners must clean up after their pets. No pets allowed in CLUBHOUSE, LAUNDRY/SHOWERS and POOL AREA. Pets that are the cause of complaints will be asked to leave the park. (See additional pet rules.)
11. POOL HOURS are Dawn to Dusk. Pool Rules posted at pool. No glass containers allowed at pool. Children under 4 years old must have a swim diaper on, or they will be asked to leave the pool. Children 12 & younger must have an adult with them.
12. NO Peddling, soliciting, or commercial ventures are allowed in the park.
13. Dumpsters are located by the Clubhouse. Please take your own garbage to the dumpster.
14. Laundry/Bathhouse facilities are provided for your convenience. Please do not leave clothes unattended in laundry areas. No outside clotheslines are permitted. Only bathing suits and towels may be dried outside a unit. 15. DO NOT SWIM IN LAKES; PETS INCLUDED. 16. NO OPEN CAMPFIRES. 17. SEWER RINGS MUST BE USED. 18. DO NOT FEED OR HARASS ALLIGATORS. 19. NO REFUNDS for EARLY DEPARTURES. 20. NO CANOES or KAYAKS are allowed to be stored on the site other than on your vehicle (not on the RV).
