Campground Information: One RV and one motor vehicle per site. Extra vehicles may incur extra fees. Campfires are permitted only in fire rings. Fire rings should not be moved, and trees should not be cut or otherwise damaged. Mini-bikes, ATVs, and golf carts are not permitted. Use of firearms and fireworks is prohibited. Bicycles are not to be ridden after dark.

Refunds: No refunds for early departures, no shows, inclement weather, or multiple bookings.

Children: Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children at all times. Young children should be supervised by an adult while using the playground, restrooms, showers or laundry. Children under the age of 16 are required to have a parent at the pool at all times.

Pets: No vicious pets or aggressive breeds are allowed. No outdoor pet kennels, cages or gated fenced-in areas allowed. Pets must be on a leash (6 feet or less) at all times. Families will not leave any unattended pets at the campsite. Constantly barking dogs will not be tolerated. Families will be responsible for picking up all waste from their pet. If there is pet waste left on your site (or anywhere on the grounds), you will be billed $10.00 for each clean-up. Pet waste must be placed in the dumpster and not in any of the trash cans located in any of our buildings. Pets are not allowed in any public building or in the pool.

Guests: All visitors and guests must check in and register at the office. Tenants must be on the premises and will be responsible for visitors and guests. Visitor Fees: $2.00 per day, per guest, $5.00 per night, per guest.

Limit of Four (4) guests per site. Only registered guests may use the facilities.

Pool Information: Swim at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty. No diving, no jumping; no sitting on or playing on or around the steps. No smoking, no alcohol, no food or drinks. No horseplay, no sharp pool toys. No climbing on or jumping off the walls. Anyone 16 years or younger must have a parent at the pool at all times.

Site Information: Residents shall maintain their space in a clean and orderly manner. Any improvements to sites or storage units must be approved by management. Clotheslines are not permitted. All trash must be placed in the dumpster, not left out at night to attract the bears or other unwanted animals. Please do not burn your garbage in your fire rings. Please do not place clam, lobster, or crab shells directly in the dumpster, please double bag them in a TIGHTLY closed bag.

Water Faucets: Maine Health Code requires a backflow valve on the water faucet. DO NOT REMOVE. You will be charged for a backflow valve if you remove it when you check out.

Sewer Connections: It is a state law: no wastewater shall be emptied on the grounds, and a tight seal (donut ring) is required around the RV’s sewer hose and sewer pipe to eliminate odor. Sewer hoses must be adequately supported off the ground on a continuous slope, with no sags or traps, to provide full drainage. Since the park has a septic system, we require the use of biodegradable toilet chemicals and rapid-dissolving toilet tissue.

Laundry: Open 24 hours.

Electric Vehicles: Are not permitted to be charged at your site.

Damage Deposit: While a damage deposit is not required, please note that removal or damages caused by a guest to a campsite, cabin, grounds or removing a back flow preventer may be assessed a fee.

Smoking/Alcohol/Drug Information: All buildings including the office, bath house, laundry, screen room and pool area and cabin are smoke free. Smoking is only allowed at your individual camp site. Smoking while walking the grounds is prohibited. All cigarettes must be properly disposed of and not placed on the grounds or in the fire pits. Consumption of alcoholic beverages will be restricted to your own site. The use of any illegal drugs is strictly prohibited, you will be asked to leave immediately. NO WARNINGS OR REFUNDS.

Music: Any outside music levels must be kept to a minimum –please be considerate of your neighbors.

Miscellaneous Information: This property is privately owned. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury, or loss of money or valuables of any kind. These rules are for your own safety. Those who do not abide by these rules will be asked to leave, without refund. WE HAVE A NO REFUND POLICY. Credit balances will remain on file. There will be a $60 nonrefundable fee.

Reminder: Our staff will only reset breakers once before requesting service from an outside electrical vendor. This may cause a longer service interruption. Please be mindful of how many appliances you are operating at one time.

Emergency Information: In case of an emergency, please call 911. Our address is: Forest Ridge Campground, 40 Flockamoosen Way, Ellsworth, ME. Please note that lack of Wi-Fi is not an emergency.
