LAUREN HARRIS Tadah Patterns www.tadahpatterns.com.au Lauren is the face behind Tadah! Patterns (formerly Fresh Patterns), creating styles with have a nod to nostalgia and a fresh take on sewing. Tadah! Patterns are all about celebrating modern sewing with designs that are accessible, funky and above all fun! She has worn many hats in her adult life, most of which have revolved teaching. She has contributed the Moku shorts to this issue.

KATE ANDERSON Horris & Deedle www.horrisanddeedle.com Kate and her sister share their blog, Horris & Deedle and love of sewing. Kate’s blog focuses on her love of quilting. For this issue Kate shares with us her pencil pencil case!

JESS TURNER Floss-style www.flosstyle.com Jess has a Bachelor of Information Systems but deciding that she needed a more creative outlet than webdesign found herself pursuing her sewing passion when her children came along. She works on her patterns from the beautiful Northern Rivers of NSW! She has contributed the Sneak Peek Sweet Treat stocking pattern to this issue.

JEN KENNEDY Ainslee Fox Boutique Patterns www.ainsleefox.com.au Jen lives in tropical North Queensland. She loves making Party Dresses and sharing her love of sewing with others. Jen’s first PDF pattern was released in 2010, but she didn’t really hit her pattern making groove till 2013 with the Disco dress pattern. Jen has contributed the Bonfire Jacket & Bells Beach Dress pattern to this issue.

RACHEL HUNSAKER Golden Rippy www.goldenrippy.com Rachel is the creative mind behind Golden Rippy. When she’s not chasing her 4 kids, she bakes chocolate chip cookies and plays video games. She also loves to design patterns, and watch old movies while sewing. Rachel loves sharing her talents by teaching others how to sew. She contributed the Helios Dress to this issue.

CRYSTAL MOTES Stitched by Crystal www.stitchedbycrystal.com Crystal is a wife and working mommy to 2 wonderful children living in sunny Florida. You can usually find her at her sewing machine first thing in the morning before her kids wake. She loves to sew, craft, DIY, and photograph and she blogs about it all. Crystal has submitted the pattern for Ralphie Reindeer to this issue.

KYLIE CROSSMAN KC Creates www.willowandtheowl.com.au Kylie is a mum to three beautiful boys. She gave up her career as a VIP hostie to pursue her handmade passions and be at home with her young family. She is a self-taught sewer and says she is by NO means an expert. She has simply found techniques that work best for her and wants to share what she creates. She has contributed the Three Ways Bunting pattern.

TONI COWARD Make it Perfect www.makeitperfect.com.au Toni has been sewing for over 20 years and started her business, Make It Perfect in 2008. Her aim is to create hip, fresh and funky sewing patterns which are geared towards the new generation of younger sewers and stylish fabrics on the market today. For this edition Toni has submitted the Festival skirt.

LAUREN WRIGHT Molly and Mama www.mollyandmama.com.au Lauren is all about sharing the imagination and energy of childhood in gorgeous applique templates, sewing patterns, beautiful clothes, accessories, home décor and more. Staying at home with her two gorgeous cherubs has given her the opportunity to build her business and dream big! Lauren has contributed the Miss Miranda & Percy Pineapple appliques to this issue.

MIQUITA CLARKE Damaya Designs www.facebook.com/damayadesigns Miquita started her little business Damaya Designs after her daughter was born. Her two beautiful children are the inspiration behind her creations. As well as her home sewing business, she is also a preschool educator. Her passion is to share the love of handmade with not only adults but with children. Miquita has contributed the art caddy pattern to this issue.

JODI MASSEY Mother Grimm www.mothergrimm.blogspot.co.uk Jodi started sewing years ago, but took up embroidery when her old inherited 50’s Singer died. After finally justifying buying a new machine she started creating decorations for friends and family as gifts. Jodi lives in the hinterlands of wild west Wales and loves cake, walking and talking about the weather! Jodi contributed the Rustic Reindeer garland to this issue.

Jessica is the creator, writer, and photographer at Snickerdoodle Stew. She also works as an online assistant to the team at Izzy & Ivy Designs and is part of the review team at Pattern Revolution. She is married and is a work-at-homemom to three gorgeous kids. She strives to do everything Soli Deo Gloriafor the glory of God alone. She has contributed the Sweet Grace headband.

SARAH CAPORN Hunting for Ladybugs www.huntingforladybugs.com.au.

Jaala is a Primary School Teacher who first started sewing 7 years ago when she had her son. She started off making quilts and loved creating masterpieces out of fabric. She turned to clothes when her daughter came along. Her focus is on fun, funky and easy patterns for the whole family. Her pattern making debut is the scrappie pants pattern in this issue.

Sarah lives an idyllic life on a farm in Western Australia. She has recently created a series of gorgeous, mailable project kits so you can teach yourself to sew at home via your mailbox. She also loves particularly tricky custom orders – or as she prefers to see it, problem solving with fabric! She has contributed the Swim bag pattern to this issue.

FOR ONE THIMBLE …

The e-zine and pattern lift-out is in this one PDF document The e-zine is at the front and the pattern lift-out comes after. At the start of the pattern lift-out (page 174) is a printing guide so you can see which pages you’ll need to print to make which pattern. The pattern lift-out has the pattern pieces, sizing information, fabric requirements and other important information for the construction of each of the patterns. For tutorials with no pattern pieces you’ll find the fabric requirements in the e-zine pages just before the instructions. The instructions for making the patterns are in the e-zine pages. Before making any of the patterns you should read the pattern thoroughly. If you have any questions during construction please don’t hesitate to email me at help@onethimble.com.au or ask in the Facebook group at www.facebook.com/groups/onethimblesewingenthusiasts
