Oneonta State senior Jeremy Cline (Gowanda, NY/CattaraugusLittle Valley) was selected as the SUNYAC’s top scholar-athlete in men’s indoor track and field being named the Men’s Indoor Track and Field SUNYAC Chancellor Scholar-Athlete for the 20062007 season. Cline is a four-year member of the track and field team having earned All-Conference honors in indoor track and field twice during his career. This past winter he captured his first individual SUNYAC title with a leap of 13.59 meters in the triple jump to earn first team All-Conference honors. His other All-Conference honor came as a sophomore when he placed third in the triple jump at the SUNYAC meet. In the classroom he has been honored for his hard work earning SUNYAC Commissioners List and AllAcademic Team honors on multiple occasions and was inducted into the National Student Athlete honor society Chi Alpha Sigma in the spring of 2005. The Chancellor’s ScholarAthlete awards are given annually in each sport to a first or second team AllConference member with the highest grade-point average. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least three semesters at their college.
