BFIT Owners’ Equity Separate financial statements as of December 31, 2011 showed that equity attributable to the company’s owners was at Baht 1,844.71 million, higher than that as of December 31, 2010 by Baht 303.53 million. The change was a net result of net profit of Baht 342.74 million, dividend payment of Baht 40 million. Adjustment of employee benefits obligations amounting to Baht 6.17 million, adjustment of interest receivables and accrued interest receivables from TAMC by Baht 11.57 million and other components of equity increased by Baht 18.53 million which was due to the increment in valuation of the available for sale investments. Details in separate owners’ equity account at yearend 2011 comprised issued and paid up share capital of Baht 1,000 million, other component of equity of Baht 108.57 million, statutory reserve of Baht 95.00 million and unappropriated retained earnings of Baht 641.14 million. Unappropriated retained earnings of Baht 641.14 million at the yearend 2011 came from net profit for the year of Baht 342.74 million and retained earnings at the end of 2010 of Baht 374.14 million, less statutory reserve of Baht 18.00 million and dividend payment of Baht 40 million. Adjustment of employee benefits obligations amounting to Baht 6.17 million, adjustment of interest receivables and accrued interest receivables from TAMC by Baht 11.57 million. Other components of equity was Baht 108.57 million at the end of 2011 derived from the difference between available-for-sale securities’ market price at the end of 2011 versus cost of securities with the following details:
