PRIVATE EYE Does your child fancy itself as a sleuth? At Groombridge Place they can solve the mystery of The Stolen Gems from Peacock Valley by collecting clues while adventuring around the 150-acre estate – with a little help from infamous detectives Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson of course! Successful clue collectors will receive a sweet treat to enjoy on their journey home. Groombridge Place has historically been the setting for mystery for a long time. Local author of the Sherlock Holmes books, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle frequented the estate and set the final Sherlock Holmes novel ‘The Valley of Fear’ on its site.
