A HISTORY IN DESIGN

1965 by OMK Founded in 1965 by Rodney Kinsman RDI, OMK designed and manufactured much of the furniture sold through Terence Conran’s Habitat stores in the 60’s and 70’s. A key figure in the High-Tech design movement, Kinsman’s products are regarded as icons of 20th century British design. OMK 1965 is a collection curated from Kinsman’s body of work. Produced in Italy maintaining the same original quality.

THE OMK ORIGINAL

T1 The OMK original, our first product. Initially sold by Sir Terence Conran through his Habitat stores from 1967, T1 quickly became one of their most popular models. Regarded as a true British design classic, T1 is one of the best examples of post war high-tech design.

The frame is made from chrome plated tubular steel, making it extremely strong and light weight.

MAKE A STATEMENT

Orbit Orbit is as practical as it is beautiful. A large main mirror is orbited by a smaller vanity mirror with both regular and magnifying surfaces. Designed in 1981 and in continuous production since, Orbit is one of our best selling products.

The statement circular mirror features a steel frame with an arm that rotates a smaller vanity mirror 180° around the larger mirror.

Double-sided with a magnifying mirror to one side and a standard mirror to the other, this easy-to-hang accessory is ideal for close-up grooming.

Pressed steel panels are mounted to a powder coated tubular steel frame and finished in a matt powder coat. Available in six standard colours, custom colours available on request.

Trestle table Designed in 1978, Trestle utilises industrial elements to create a sophisticated desk. Available to buy as either a set of trestle legs or a complete table with two top options.

Designed in 1978, Trestle utilises a simple design to create a sophisticated desk.

• Tubular steel frame • Laminated glass top • Laminate top

Powder coated steel legs are available to buy as either a standalone set or combined with one of two top options to form a complete desk. The glass top sits inside a steel frame and has a grid pattern printed on the underside.

Available Colours RAL 9005 Jet Black

An alternative laminate top is available in a soft touch finish with a contrasting grid pattern.

T-System Low A tubular steel frame is linked with cast aluminium knuckles that allows T-System to be modified and extended in almost any way desired.

The low height version makes the perfect console table or room divider.

TIMELESS DESIGN

Tokyo Originally designed in 1985 for London’s Groucho Club, Tokyo Stool was launched at the Milan Furniture Fair the same year. ​ The elegant frame and narrow stance of the rear legs creates a light rhythm and clean aesthetic. Tokyo Chair was launched the same year to create a complimentry set of products.

Originally designed in 1985 for London’s Groucho Club, Tokyo Stool was launched at the Milan Furniture Fair the same year.

• Ash veneer plywood seat • Tubular steel frame • Polyurethane backrest

Consists of a tubular steel frame powder coated black, with a moulded polyurethane back rest and plywood seat panel finished in black stain with a clear lacquer.
