Tonasket sets June 5 graduation Class of 2010 picks white and royal blue as its senior colors By Sheila Corson The Chronicle TONASKET – Graduation ceremonies for 64 Tonasket High School seniors will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 5, in the gymnasium, 35 Highway 20. The class has white and royal blue as its colors with the stargazer lily as its flower. The class motto is, “We came here as strangers, we stay as
friends, we leave with memories that will never end.” Meghan Newton, daughter of Teresa and Randall Newton, is valedictorian. Spencer Podkranic, son of Kelli Podkranic and Steve Podkranic, is the Newton salutatorian. Newton plans to attend Western Washington University, Bellingham, and Podkranic will attend Perry Technical Institute,
Yakima. Baccalaureate will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, at the Assembly of God Church, 25 E. Fourth Ave. The senior breakfast is at 7 a.m. Thursday, June 3, at RDL Auto Shop, 522 S.
