Omak From 4 joined the family medicine department to offer services to patients of all ages. Norris graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1997. She completed medical school prerequisites at Iowa State University in 2007 and graduated a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University in 2012. Dr. Norris completed her residency at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa in 2015. Dr. Kimberley Kleckner, MD will also have a focus on women’s health and obstetrics. Kleckner completed her residency at Florida Hospital Allopathic Family Medicine in Winter Park, Florida, where she served as Chief Resident. Brown earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. He completed clinical rotations throughout North Central Washington, including Wenatchee, Chelan, Moses Lake and Spokane. Brown is originally from Brewster and his wife, Sarah, is from Wenatchee.

Coulee adds four doctors Hospital adding new records system to help providers, patients The Chronicle GRAND COULEE — Coulee Medical Center has recently hired four doctors to provide additional services to patients - Dr. Sam Hsieh, Dr. Kate Schmidt, Dr. Andre Nye and Dr. Shannon Servin-Obert. Hsieh, the facility’s new general surgeon, finished his residency at the University of Texas. Hsieh, who joined the staff in August, received his medical degree from Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. Schmidt, who will focus on complete family medicine, was born in Ohio. She graduated from Northern Arizona University with a premed degree. She graduated with a medical degree from Antigua College of Medicine and completed her residency in Community Health of Central Washington. Nye and Servin-Obert are splitting a practice in the clinic and will also cover emergency room shifts. Along with the new staff, the hospital is also

in the process of converting to a new medical check-in/records system that will make the process easier and more secure. “The system we are in now is really antiquated,” hospital spokesperson Sommer Hicks said. “It’s going to make it easier for us to get the information. Moving to the next program will just make it easier for our providers.”

Coulee Medical Center has begun offering a new program “Wellness Right to Your Door.” Staff work on going to select patient’s homes to avoid the readmission process from happening. So far the program is limited to obstetrics, but the hospital expects the program to branch out, according to Hicks. Nurses provide well baby visits, help with breast feeding and other things recent mom’s might need addressed. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Coulee Medical Center is offering discounted labs in May and October. “It’s really about preventative care and we are keeping our community as healthy as possible,” Hicks said.
