Omaha-born director Alexander Payne was involved in the purchase of King Fong Cafe (Omaha’s oldest restaurant) in 2007. Although currently closed, Payne plans to reopen King Fong’s in the near future. The restaurant’s interior is famous for rare and antique décor imported from Canton, China, in the early 1900s.
