May Rosary The Knights of Columbus will sponsor the Rosary every Wednesday evening at 6:45 PM outside in front of the flower garden and the statues of the Blessed Mother and St. Bernadette. May 10, 17, 24 and 31. In case of inclement weather, we will move inside to the main foyer of the church, in front of the statue of the Blessed Mother. All are welcome to participate. The Pope’s Pastoral Works
The diocesan collection for The Pope’s Pastoral Works will be received on May 21. PILGRIMAGE TO BARCELONA, LOURDES AND ROME, 2017 During 2017, we are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Founding of our beloved parish, Our Lady of Lourdes. What better way to celebrate this significant milestone than to travel to LOURDES and take part, with fellow parishioners, in the beautiful evening Candlelight Procession. We still have seats available and would love to have you join us. The date of the Pilgrimage is from October 10th to the 20th, 2017. For reservations call Anne Routhier at 613-389-8170

High Trust Volunteers
For those who volunteer in a High Trust Ministry and have not signed the annual Offence Declaration required to keep your Police Records Check current, please find envelopes with blank forms in the brown box on the table to the left side of the church entrance. Please sign and date the form and return it to the church. You can place it in the collection basket, clearly marked Offence Declaration or give it to a member of the Screening Committee. Thank you.
BIRTHRIGHT is celebrating Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day again this year by
distributing baby bottles on Mothers’ Day weekend. Please take a bottle, fill it with coins, paper money or cheques and return it on Fathers’ Day weekend. The money we raise will enable us to offer positive assistance and aid to those who find themselves facing a difficult or unplanned pregnancy. Thank you for your support.

CWL Convention 2017
Thank you to all members of the parish who supported our efforts as we planned our convention weekend. It was a huge success because of your support and prayers. Thank you to all of the ladies who volunteered over the weekend and especially Father Brennan for his unwavering support. Our raffle winners were: Bernice Hunt ($600), Jennifer Albright ($400) and George Loos ($200). The CWL would like to wish all mothers in the parish a very Happy Mother’s Day!

Knights of Columbus Breakfast
The Knights of Columbus are hosting Breakfast May 28 after both Masses. The cost of breakfast is $5. Tickets will be sold at all Masses: 6/7 May, 13/14 May, 20/21. This breakfast is our parish’s observance of Father Brennan’s 40th anniversary of Ordination. Father Brennan insists that he will receive no personal gifts. He would greatly appreciate donations, in his name, to ‘Chalice’ for the support of children in need in developing countries. Income tax receipts will be provided for those who contribute to the projects and mission of Chalice.

Spring Garden Project
Please find in your bulletin and at the back of the church, tickets for our spring fundraising project with Neil’s Flowers. During the months of May and June, Neil’s will contribute to our Parish Building Fund ten percent of the sales price of our purchases when we present one of these tickets. Visit them for flowers, floral arrangements, garden supplies, and tools. Give tickets to your friends. And, if you forget your tickets, Neil’s have some at their counter.
Faith Formation Courses The Archdiocese is partnering with Newman

FLORES DE MAYO is celebrating the 12th year of Flores de Mayo, in honour of our Blessed Mother Mary, on Sunday, May 21 at St. Joseph’s Church, 3 pm, followed by 3:30 pm Mass. All are welcome. Reception in the parish hall.
Devotion to St. Anne | There will be a St. Anne de Beaupre Devotion on
Tuesday, May 23 at 7 pm at St. John the Evangelist Parish, Gananoque. It will be lead by Father Guy Desrochers C.Ss.R, who is in charge of the Sainte-Anne-DeBeaupre Shrine in Quebec. Mass followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with a candlelight procession. The relic of St. Anne will be present. Following the candlelight procession there will be an opportunity for the Veneration of the Relic.

District School Board is looking forward to the opening of Kingston’s newest Catholic elementary school in Fall 2017. St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School will consolidate Holy Family, St. Peter and St. Patrick Catholic Schools. To celebrate the history of Holy Family, St. Peter and St. Patrick Catholic Schools, each school will host a retirement celebration after the regularly scheduled 11:00 a.m. Sunday Mass.
