TO ALL THE MEDICAL STUDENTS IN THE ROOM, Good evening and welcome to Inter Nos. It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to this wonderful event which promises to be a night to remember. Your organizers have been planning this event for months and they have poured their hearts and souls into making tonight extraordinary for all of you. A special thanks to our VP Socials, Ariane & Phil, and their committees who have gone above and beyond. Cheers to you for such a remarkable event. Thank you to everyone who is here tonight to share in the memories. These events wouldn’t happen if it weren’t for such a wonderful, diverse, and inspiring cohort of budding professionals. Please take the opportunity tonight to mingle with your classmates from different years and get to know your future colleagues - truly embracing the meaning of Inter Nos. The relationships that we build through these events represent the foundation of our future professional relationships as physicians. Plusieurs d’entre-nous construisent les bases de leurs connaissances médicales dans les amphithéâtres, alors que d’autres se préparent à nous quitter vers la résidence avec l’immense bagage acquis lors des nombreuses heures passées dans les hôpitaux. We would like to welcome you to the 6th edition of this very enjoyable event: Inter Nos. In the spirit of this event, we are pleased to be able to convene under the same roof both medical and dentistry students from all four years of training at our dear McGill University. Some of you might be studying the basis on which you will build your clinical knowledge, while others are ready to leave for residency with an immense background earned throughout the years. Tonight is an opportunity for all of us to share our experiences and enjoy an amazing evening with friends and future colleagues. As our lives get busier and as the list of things we have to do gets longer, we often forget to pause and enjoy the many wonderful things life has to offer. We all have good and bad days; days we feel overwhelmed and days we feel we could tackle anything. Tonight is for all the nights
