The Value of a Liberal Arts Education at Olivet College
The Olivet College Plan provides students with the breadth and depth of a traditional liberal arts education, including courses in the natural and social sciences, arts and humanities within the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum of the College. Students also actively participate in a weekly seminar in their major area of study, complete courses fulfilling the College’s senior capstone experience and service learning requirements.
The purpose of the liberal arts core curriculum is to embody the College’s academic vision of Education for Individual and Social Responsibility. All courses and experiences included in the program are graduation requirements derived from the principles and aspirations articulated in the vision statement.

An Olivet College liberal arts education prepares you for more than a job.
