OUR SUPPORTERS
ALUMNI C UNCIL The Alumni Council’s primary objective in 2017 was to spearhead efforts to reengage the broader Alumni community. The Council successfully led a variety of initiatives, including a cocktail reception that brought together Alumni from the Classes of 1991 through 2012, many of whom were reconnecting after many years; a networking event at LinkedIn’s New York headquarters; and a credit workshop by AltoCredit Advisors LLC. Throughout the year, Alumni participation at student programs and events also increased, whether to dispense career advice at Tuesday Talks or Career Day, or to support and encourage new Scholars as part of Oliver’s Mentor Program. The Council and the broader community continued to exhibit their commitment to Oliver’s mission with contributions to the Alumni Challenge and other giving opportunities.

JUNI R BOARD Oliver’s Junior Board, formed in 2015, engages young professionals in supporting our mission. The Junior Board is tasked with raising funds and awareness for Oliver through various events and volunteer opportunities. In 2017, the Junior Board partnered with TopSpin Charity for a ping-pong themed fundraiser. Guests were able to participate in a ping-pong tournament and watch Olympic-level players in action. The event raised $20,000 in support of Oliver’s programs.
