An hour of trembling hands, cracking fingers, sweating hands, deep thought, and racing breath has passed. I'm lost in thought, considering it and the other items I've misplaced. I'm surprised because I misplaced my wallet, which held credit cards, identification cards, cash, and, most importantly, a photograph of my mother. OH! I almost forgot to mention that my name is Ziyan Modu, and I've been in Spain for over three years. This was the first incident I'd seen in more than a year. I was thinking about my misplaced bank card and the cash; I intended to send the money from the card home and use the cash to cover my expenses until my next pay check arrived. If I use card money for daily expenses and am unable to send money home, my mother will notice and become concerned. I flipped through my phone, trying to remember who could help me or arrange for me to work extra hours to get out of the situation.
