Curaçao, the holistic health Mecca of the Caribbean. Curaçao is the place for rejuvenation, amazing trails, and its beauty just speaks spirituality in all languages. This might be why it is referred to as simply… “special.”

Curaçao is an energy vortex (a place of high-energy field) that allows the field of our own electro-magnetic field to be amplified by nature’s energy. Those that venture to Curaçao say this energy allows us to release old trauma and heal old wounds. Essentially, it helps us live the life in our fullest human potential if we become more aware and conscious about it. Curaçao is indeed a vortex energy center in the Caribbean and in the world that brings in powerful wellness and healing if one tunes in with this energy. Vortexes are thought to enhance energy and provide spiritual inspiration and well being to those who are near them.

Back in 2018, I wrote a blog on my website olgajob.com and an article in Support magazine about this vortex energy of Curaçao after I visited Sedona back in 2016. I was star struck when I felt this vortex energy back then, and the profound experience I felt while being in Sedona. I was left so astonished, that it made me research deeper about this topic for the following several years which led me to other countries around the world also entailing sort of energy.

This ultimately led me to exploring and living in places like Bali, Tulum, Nepal, the Himalayas, to just name a few. Until I also discovered that my native island Curaçao is also indeed a very powerful Vortex Energy Portal

But what is it about Curaçao that drives this powerful energy?

Ancient cultures worldwide have always recognized the existence of special energy centers called vortexes. These vortexes occur at specific geographical locations. You may have heard of the word Chakras before. In the human body there are seven main chakras. These chakras are essentially energy centers that keeps us well and balanced on the physical, mental and emotional plane. The seven chakras run along the spine right up to the crown of the head and are in charge of specific functions in our physical and auric bodies. Just like we have our own energy centers or chakras, Mother Earth also has her own. Along with the Chakras, vortexes also exist around the Earth. These vortexes are similar to the chakra places of high energy and transformation. They are also intense points that can amplify any emotions you may be experiencing. Vortexes connect with the chakra points, working together to form Earth’s energetic grid.

But before we dive in deeper let’s explore ‘energy.’

Energy, Vibration, Frequency

Throughout the history of different cultures, people have often used the word ‘energy’ and ‘power’ to describe their experience with a higher power or force along with natural energy itself, such as the sun, wind, lightning, or volcanic eruptions. The term "positive energy" is often used to describe an optimistic or positive approach to life whereas "negative energy" is equated with a pessimistic or negative approach. Negative energy can take a toll on your well-being and lead to a pessimistic view of the world. Positive energy, on the other hand, can contribute to feelings of optimism, happiness, and wellness. Positive energy refers to an attitude that is encouraging, productive, and beneficial. People who exhibit this positive energy often do so by:

• Feeling gratitude & being humble

• Having high energy levels with positive expectations

• Engaging in positive self-talk and positive feelings

• Being kind and generous to others, without interest

• Supporting and encouraging others, unconditionally

• Surrounding themselves with positive & real down-to-earth people

• Believing that good things will happen & expecting same with patience

• Feeling worthiness to self and to others (equality to others)

As Nikola Tesla said Energy, Frequency and vibrations are the primary principles of understanding the Universe and also The Law Of Attraction. Although some may confuse them interchangeably, they are more different and diverse, but do work together. They are fundamental proven laws in physics, which also relate to The Law Of Attraction.

In physics, frequency is the rate at which vibrations occur in the forms of sound waves, radio waves or light waves. It is usually measured in hertz (Hz). Since the body is made up of matter, it is vibrating at its own frequencies. If the body can match these frequencies then more positive manifestations will be attracted. Higher frequencies are attributed to more

positive emotions like joy, happiness and enlightenment (which is highest, +700Hz). On the opposite side to this, lower frequencies attract negative emotions like fear (100Hz) guilt (30Hz) and shame (20Hz) . The goal is to raise our vibrational frequencies so that it blocks out all negativity, and only attracts positivity.

David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D., an internationally renowned spiritual teacher, psychiatrist, physician, researcher, and developer of the widelyknown Map of Consciousness, presents a diagram of vibrational states of being in his book Power vs. Force. This diagram matches the vibrational frequency of its corresponding emotion. He mentions that 99% of the world’s population is living at a contracted frequency (below 200). Thus, the vast majority of humanity is either suffering or just getting by. To live in flow, in love, and in peace, you need to raise your vibration to match that of which you wish to attract.

High frequencies people are unaffected by low frequency people and negativity as you’ve probably noticed people in society that know how to keep a cool and composed manner even when dealing under strenuous circumstances.

Higher frequencies means the lighter you feel in your physical, emotional, and mental bodies. This goes back to my earlier point you manifest not what you want, but what you are. If you are a positive force of high vibrational frequencies then you attract high frequency energy into your life.

However if you resonate at a low vibrational frequency then you attract stress, depression, anger and negativity.

The theory that the energy of our thoughts (positive or negative) attracts experiences of the same energy to come into our lives (or manifest). The concept is generally summed up as "Like attracts like."

The Energy Vortex of Curaçao

Now that you understand more about energy and frequency, let’s dive deeper into what Vortex Energy means for Curaçao.

A NASA-sponsored researcher at the University of Iowa has developed a way for spacecraft to hunt down hidden magnetic portals in the vicinity of Earth. These gateways link the magnetic field of our planet. When it comes to the earth, Ley Lines are lines of energy that coil around the Earth in a similar fashion as a strand of DNA. Ley Lines are believed to carry high-vibrational energetic information around the Earth. The places where the Ley Lines intersect are believed to be high points of energy and hold a high concentration of electrical charge.

“Love the "now" to attract what you want by being grateful with what you have. You get what you are!”

Some of these intersecting points along the Ley Lines are home to some of the most sacred temples and monuments in the world: the Egyptian Pyramids, Machu Picchu in Peru, Bali, Sedona, Himalayas, Angkor Wat and Curaçao being between three Ley Lines, under a thick Ley line and in between two powerful Ley Lines. Most ancient cultures around the world have some understanding of Ley Lines.

In China, Ley Lines are known as Dragon Lines. In South America, the Shaman’s referred to them as Spirit Lines, in Australia, the ancient Aboriginals called them Dream Lines and in the West, they are referred to as Ley Lines.

If you think of these Ley Lines as Mother Earth’s energy currents, you will begin to see how it is possible that the Earth also has energy centers or chakras like humans do. The Chakras of Earth are Mount Shasta, California (Root Chakra), Lake Titicaca, Peru (Sacral Chakra), Uluru, Australia (Solar Plexus Chakra), Stonehenge, England (Heart Chakra), The Great Pyramid, Jerusalem (Throat Chakra), and the Himalayan Mountains, Tibet (Crown Chakra.) movement of Earth’s axis. While these seven chakras have a very high energy, there are also other high points of energy around the world where the Ley Lines travel through. These include the Tulum, Bermuda Triangle, Mount Fuji, Japan, Maui, Hawaii, Sedona, Nepal, Himalayas, Arizona, Lake Taupo, New Zealand and Bali, Indonesia.

Curaçao is indeed a vortex energy center in the Caribbean and in the world that brings in powerful wellness and healing if one tunes in with this energy. Vortexes are thought to enhance energy and provide spiritual inspiration and well being to those who are near them. Mystics claim that there are two types of energies coming from the rocks, magnetic (female) and electric (male). Others refer to the vortex power as upflow or inflow. Chakra points and Ley Lines are typically located near high deposits of rich crystal deposits, electromagnetic volcanic material and increased ormus. This is also seen through the formation of ‘Tafelberg’ mountain in Curaçao. Millions of years ago, this mountain was created by forces we cannot imagine producing beautiful lime stones crystals and phosphates which are mined. Tafelberg is located near Santa Barbara Plantation which is a profound history of well-being. Let’s dig deeper into some of this history.

Earth chakras are supercharged physical locations with energy that help keep the planet and all life on it in balance.

Chakra points and vortexes/vortices reflect the full spectrum of possibilities for humans to align and expand. They represent the collective, “higher self” frequencies of the body and energetic field. You will be attracted to certain locations to pick up and merge with the specific vibrations presently needed

for your growth and evolution. The frequencies of these locations also live within you, even if you are on the other side of the planet!

Earth chakra points are where energy spirals flows down to planet earth. The general essences of the Earth’s chakra points are to magnify the energy correlated to the body’s chakras. When you immerse yourself in these energy fields you will find that your own physical electromagnetic field will become aligned with the frequency of the chakra point you are in.

Chakra points pour, radiate and give off energy by tapping into a variety of dimensional fields. They balance and regulate the electromagnetic field of Earth to stabilize our planet’s energy. They connect with Earth’s vortices, working together as an energetic, crystalline grid around our planet.

Everyone will have their own experiences, and receive particular frequencies and downloads designed for you. These places will bubble up any energies or beliefs that are out of alignment with your natural self so that you can integrate them and become more of your true essence. On a PBS program Nova, featured a breakthrough in physics called “String Theory” that is revolutionizing all of science on the same order of magnitude that Einstein’s discoveries did in the early 1900s. It stated: "The key spiritual implications of super-strings is that the world’s top scientists agree that all things exist in a minimum of 10 or more dimensions.” Simply stated, Vortex sites are locations having energy flows in those deeper dimensions that the Soul can soar on.

Upflow Vortexes, also called electric or masculine sites, have energy flows that help you soar to higher spiritual perspectives both for males and females. They enhance prayers or meditations for blending with the Universe, feeling one with the divine, or facing a problem from a Soul level. Inflow Vortexes (also called magnetic or feminine), have energy flows that help you go inward. In them you will be more successful with meditations or prayers about your life purposes or how to heal hurts in your past. There are also Combination Vortexes that have aspects of both energies. These allow the seeker to experience more advanced or in-depth spiritual skills and meditations.

Magnetic vortexes have a feminine or “yin” energy because the energy flow is very nurturing, soft and welcoming and can assist you in inward activities, such as contemplation, meditation and reflection. On the other hand, an electrical vortex is also a “yang” or masculine vortex. Electrical vortexes tend to be very energizing and are really great for getting the energy moving. Perfect for forward movement, setting intentions and increasing your resolve and stamina.

The vortexes are not new, however, Native Americans including the Navajo, Yavapai and Hopi Indians long before recognized, recognized the energy and spiritual power of vortexes, honoring the island and using them for retreats.

A vortex is also believed to be a special spot on the earth where energy is either entering into the earth or projecting out of the earth's plane. Vortexes are energy sites or meditative places. They are locations where a swirling condensed center of spiritual energy allegedly projects out of the earth. Believers feel that Curaçao vortexes make it easier to pray, contemplate, reduce stress and heal the mind and body.

Bryant described the vortex locations as electric, magnetic, or electromagnetic. Others say “female or male,” “positive or negative.” If you want to get scientific about it, there’s no actual measured magnetism or energy at these vortexes. But that doesn’t mean the spiritualists made up what they felt. After all, studies have found that just being outdoors has immense immune-boosting and mood-altering benefits, plus increased clarity and concentration.

Pete Sanders, a MIT biochemical chemistry graduate who aims to connect spirituality with science stated “I want to bring this stuff out of woo woo and into wow wow,” he says. For him, the therapeutic benefits of the vortexes are directly related to the physical attributes. The high elevation, deep canyons, low population density, and the blue skies for miles all combine to create an optimal environment for relaxation and brain stimulation.

Curaçao… cure-the-soul, cure-the-heart

Did you know that only one country in the whole world can call itself the “Island of Wellness”? Did you know that the island of Curaçao has that exclusive right?

The name “Curaçao” has its meaning and a beautiful history, which most people do not know. In order to understand the meaning of the name, we go back to the last months of the fifteenth century, 26th July 1499.

Curaçao was (re) discovered in 1499 by Alonso de Ojeda, along with Amerigo Vespucci and Juan de la Cosa. They named the island “Isla de los Gigantes” (island of giants) because they found that the inhabitants were very large. Most likely, the Indians were not that big at all, but compared to

the petite Spaniards, Portuguese and Italians, the strongly muscled Indians were amazingly huge at the time. The sailors (pirates, conquerors) hoped and expected to find gold and silver on this island with giants, but they failed to find same. They then decided to change the name from ‘Isla de los gigantes’ and renamed the island ‘Islas Inutiles’ (useless islands). Due to the long journey many sailors were sick, weak, and dying on board who suffered from a mysterious illness and who were dying one after the other. This was the disease called ‘scurvy’ (medical: scorbutus or scorbut), a disease due to a long-term vitamin C deficiency a common disease back in the days for many centuries on sailing ships.

Mr. Rudolf de Wit shared: “Amerigo Vespucci left the sick sailors to die on the island (Isla Inutile) while departing to South and Central America, where the sailors could die in a “dignified” manner; after all, when a sailor was dying at sea, the body was thrown into the ocean, and there was no questioning of a human or honorable burial. When returning from America to Spain, the “healthy” sailors that were left on the ship, saw that the same ill sailors whom they had left behind to die were on shore and greeting them in brilliant health.”

They were completely healed because they had done excellent with the abundance of fresh fruit, full of vitamin C, as well as the powerful energy of healing and wellness present on the island. This is when the island was then renamed to ‘the island of the healing Indians’, ‘Coração’, the Portuguese word meaning heart. In the name Curaçao, the true nature has since been hidden:

Cura-ção means ‘healing / heart’. Curaçao the island for ‘healing of heart and soul’.

The Spaniards imported many exotics to Curaçao. Horses, sheep, goats, pigs and cattle were introduced from Europe or one of the Spanish colonies on the island. Various exotic trees and plants were also planted by the Spaniards. 12 years after Curaçao was discovered, Valencia orange trees from Spain were planted on Curaçao, but the sizzling sun and arid climate were too much for the colourful sweet oranges, and the trees were left to wither in the wild as their fruit evolved into bitter reflection of its former

glory. A few centuries later it would find redemption as a fruit the locals called “laraha”, in the success of the Genuine Blue Curaçao Liquor.

Curaçao is essentially the “Caribbean’s Purification Center.”

Everyone experiences energetic places differently and some people can be more sensitive than others. These locations tend to magnify the energy or beliefs that are out of alignment with your natural self so that you can face them and become more aligned with your true self. This integration can be challenging and confronting, but also euphoric and enlightening. The Island of Curaçao is an energy vortex that is also the location of the Earth’s Kundalini energy, formed by its two large Ley Lines which intersect and have great power and energy. This center purifies the blood of the Earth, and therefore cleanses and rejuvenates our own soul and body.

Like Sedona Arizona, the Bermuda triangle, and the seven Earth’s chakra points; Curaçao is also a very small yet the powerful vortex energy point in the Caribbean. This is a key player for humanity’s awakening process. Vortex energy areas in Curaçao is thought to be swirling centers of energy that are conducive to healing, meditation and self-exploration. This is seen in places where the earth seems especially alive with energy. Many people feel inspired, recharged or uplifted after visiting the vortex of Curaçao. Our ancestors knew this very well and identified the powerful spiritual essence of our dushi Kòrsou. Curaçao as the meaning of the name for curing the soul, curing the heart, which is a powerful vortex energy center of the Caribbean. Mingling lines of magnetic force from the sun and earth crisscross and join to create the openings called portals. A portal is an extraordinary opening in space or time that connects travelers to distant realms. A good portal is a shortcut, a guide, and a door into the unknown (credit: NASA). Some of the clues you notice when coming upon the vortex island of Curaçao, is unexpectedly energy vibrations such as tingling in the hands or buzzing throughout your body, heating up or feeling a rush of energy or a shift in consciousness or perception. Often, the island will be very beautiful wherever there is a vortex and trees that may show twisting trunks and branches, spiraling in the energy field.

Curaçao has the ability to transform lives. The beauty of the island automa7cally recalibrate our sense of wonder. Embrace the spectacular. Accept the astonishing. This is a place that inspires, recharges, upli?s, soothes, restores and so much more. For people visi7ng, it is hard to ignore the power, even if you don’t necessarily believe in these types of things.

Moreover, Curaçao is also known to be surrounded by Dolphins that swim around the island daily. Dolphins are known to be sea animals that only live in higher frequency and energetic fields. Dolphins have a special place on our planet as they have the ability to communicate on a higher spiritual level due to their ability to operate at a very high level of frequency. The human range is commonly given as 20 to 20,000 Hz, though there is

considerable variation between individuals. On the other hand, dolphins range typically between 100,000 Hz to 150,000 Hz. Dolphins are known to only live in or around high level of frequency energies. Would this explain the high voltage of energy surrounding our dushi island?

Our ancestors knew the power of the energy fields of the island, we can see that not only with the presence of the dolphins, and we can also experience it through of our own being. With all of this in mind, it is no wonder that Curaçao is known as a place of transformation, a place of purification, and a place that can elevate your frequency. For centuries it has been known among the local people for carrying funneled energy, eliciting awakening and change.

Curaçao captures you and takes you through a process of releasing the old and ushering in the new. It is also a place that amplifies all your emotions and experiences. It confronts your deepest truths. The journey is cleansing, healing, and purifying in nature and guides you back to the energy of your heart and spirit.

You may come on retreat or visit Curaçao seeking a spiritual or transformative experience. Even if you don’t come with any intention of diving into the spiritual elements of Curaçao, chances are, you will still feel the beautiful energy and power of the island in one way or another. You will leave Curaçao feeling like an entirely new person! Or you may experience changes later on after you return home.
