Drew Pomeranz worked his way into the record books at Ole Miss after a three-year career that saw him become the highest overall draft pick in school history when he was taken fifth by the Cleveland Indians in the 2010 MLB Draft. Pomeranz also was named the 2010 SEC Pitcher of the Year, - the first for the program - and was a finalist for the Golden Spikes Award, the Dick Howser Trophy and a semi-finalist for Pitcher of the Year. After playing with the Rebels for two years from 1994-1995, Price was able to leave his mark on Ole Miss, as he is placed first with the most games started and innings pitched in a season. Also, Price is one of only two pitchers to tally at least 10 wins and 100 strikeouts in a season. Playing for Ole Miss from 1953-1956, Schreiber became the first Rebel to earn All-America honors in his final season. The four-year letterman also ranks fifth in all-time triples for the program in a season and sixth in his career. With a three-year career at Ole Miss from 1990-1992, Snopek became the first Rebel in 19 years to earn All-America honors since Paul Husband in 1973. In 1992, Snopek was drafted to the White Sox where he would make his MLB debut in 1995. Snopek would go on to play for the Red Sox, Reds, Mariners, Cubs and Cardinals during his major league career.
