Along with our runners, our sponsors are one of our greatest resources, as their generous donation helps us create a successful, family-friendly event to benefit the children in our community. Since 2003, Old Hat has been giving back to Norman through employee fundraisers such as Mustache May, Mayhem, and HuMAYliation. In 2013, we wanted to create a bigger event, one that would raise more funds for our beneficiaries and one that our community
athletic facilities, down through Campus Corner and on to Main Street before crossing the finish line. Sports organizations such as the University of Oklahoma Athletics and the Oklahoma City Thunder take part in our event each year, and Oklahoma sports icons Barry Switzer and Billy Sims have kicked off the race in years past.

On race day, we encourage all participants to show off their inner sports fanatic as they run (or walk) past well known locations in Norman. The race starts at Old Hat’s office in downtown Norman, runner’s take off towards the University of Oklahoma and around their
