• To have as broad a range of opportunities as possible to develop their knowledge and skills • To be successful in all areas of their lives in college and fulfil their aspirations for the future • To develop a passion for education and have fun in their learning • To play a full part in our community and celebrate our diversity and inclusivity. These values are at the heart of our mission to provide an outstanding education, so you can lead purposeful and successful lives.
What you can expect from OSFC
• A safe, healthy and inspirational learning environment • Outstanding teaching and learning • Regular feedback on how to improve and excel • Support, guidance and enrichment beyond the classroom • A voice in the life and development of OSFC.
What OSFC expects of you
What we expect is simple; for students to follow our 3 Rs and be: RESPONSIBLE RESPECTFUL READY TO LEARN Progress Tutors
Your Progress Tutor plays a vital role in your OSFC experience. Once assigned, your Progress Tutor will remain with you throughout your two years at OSFC and will become the first person you should contact if you need any help or advice. At weekly meetings you’ll cover a wide range of topics including applying for your next steps, developing study and revision skills, and setting regular targets to enhance and monitor your own progress.
A bridge to university and life beyond education
At OSFC you will experience an education that is different from your school because we want you to be ready for whatever comes next. Central to this is providing you with independence and treating you like an adult. You will be in charge of everything, from what you wear to how you manage your own time, but we will be here to support you every step of the way.
