Available before or after regular pool hours, your guests will love having a section of the pool to themselves. The fee structure is designed to allow you to customize your party to your needs. Pool reservations begin May 1, at the Olathe Community Center, 1205 Kansas City Rd., or you may call (913) 971-8563. Rentals are available from May 27 to the first week of August (depending on staff availability).

SHADE SHELTER RENTALS

The Shade Shelters at Black Bob Bay, Frontier and Oregon Trail Pools are available to rent for your next party or get together. Each Shade Shelter includes picnic tables reserved just for you. The Shelter Fee does not include daily admission to the pool and each member of the party or group will have to pay normal admission. Olathe Parks & Rec sponsors the Olathe Cyclones Swim & Dive Team. The team was organized for the purpose of promoting a summer youth recreation team in Olathe. In addition to a competitive team, the Cyclones also offer a pre-competitive level, not intended to teach children to swim, but to develop their strokes and endurance to prepare them for competition. The team is a member of the Johnson County Swim and Dive League, and competes in both competitive and pre-competitive meets with other cities in the league. Team members can participate in both diving and swimming, if desired. A parent meeting will be held Thursday, April 25, from 6:30-7:30 PM at the Olathe Community Center (1205 E. Kansas City Rd. ) and suit fitting will be available 7:30-8:15 p.m. This is your opportunity to meet the coaches and learn more about the team. Swim Practices run weekdays from May 28 - July 3, and dive practices will run weekdays from May 28 - July 10, at Black Bob Bay. Enrollment: Begins March 25, 2019 Registration Deadline: May 20, 2019
