Exhibition: John Newsom: Nature’s Course Focusing on the artist’s body of work over the last 20 years, John Newsom: Nature’s Course presents large-scale, richly textured, oil on canvas paintings of flora and fauna. Working with typewriters and various ink colors to create works on paper, fabric, and canvas, Reynolds uses patterns, repetition, and overlays to call forth organic shapes, landscapes, and explorations of letter form, supplementing or replacing old meanings with new ones. “Overtype” continues through the Paseo Arts Festival, until June1.
