AUDREY OCHSNER

SCHOLARSHIP WINNER

ADVANCED ACHIEVEMENT Scholarship Donor: Vernon and Ronda McKown Endowment

During the six years of her 4-H career, Audrey Ochsner explored nearly all 4-H had to offer, whether it be through learning goat showmanship, competing in the National Consumer Judging Competition or attending National 4-H Conference. It was in leadership, however, where Audrey found her home. Through her collected project work, she has reached more than 48,000 individuals with the impact of 4-H.

WHAT ASPECT OF 4-H HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? “Through club, county, district and state leadership positions, I have learned what it means to truly communicate with others, and have found ways to connect with my peers and encourage them to continue to make their best better.”

HOW WILL THE LIFE SKILLS YOU LEARNED AS A 4-H MEMBER BE USED THROUGHOUT YOUR LIFE? “The characteristics I have gained through 4-H, such as hard work, perseverance, enthusiasm and curiosity, will be so helpful to me and will set me apart as I continue my education and soon enter the workforce.”

When you support the Oklahoma 4-H Foundation, you support opportunity for Oklahoma’s next generation of leaders.
