oikos Alumni

oikos Alumni are active across the world in business, government, NGOs and academia. Their common history and interest in sustainability provides a bond that lasts long beyond their university years. The Alumni take part in our international activities and get together in an informal setting todiscusst heir favorite topics of sustainability, exchange career experiences and reminisce about their times at oikos.

Alumni Weekend

While it became difficult to meet and the world was shifting, the oikos Alumni community kept meeting on a regular basis. In April we hosted the Alumni Weekend - an online event gathering many oikos Alumni around the globe. It was a truly diverse audience from different career paths all connected by their passion for sustainability and their oikos journeys, some of which joining even 20 years after their oikos days.

Organized by the Alumni, the main goal of this StGallen Unconference is to help oikos community members find as many links in the network as possible and to offer you the space to share your knowledge and experience. It takes place every year around the end of August.
