my P. Betts is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Education as a result of her role as the President of Bettlam Global Strategies.

Upon her retirement from teaching and supervision, Amy created Bettlam Global Strategies to better serve the Education community. She currently specializes in Public Speaking; Grant Writing; Writing; Non-Profits; Communication; Organizational Development; as well as working with parents.

Amy takes pride in her teaching past and knows that it has helped her to create Bettlam Global Strategies. Her success as a teacher is clearly evident by the fact that past students still ask her for help n even though she has retired. Many of her peers have contracted for her services for other school systems, and parents of newly identified students »of different abilities often get her name and call for help and advice. Amy earned her Master's Degree in Reading and Special Education from Florida State University, and also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education and Teaching from Florida State University.

ana L. Carmichael, PhD is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Professional and Staff Development. Dana is the Co-Founder and Executive Director with the Center for Authentic Intellectual Work.

reform work, team facilitation, staff development, curriculum design, international education and classroom instruction, leadership training, and more. Dana has been the recipient of both the Meyer Nathan Award and the Asian Studies Award, and has also been chosen as Woman of the Year by NAPW.

The Center for Authentic Intellectual Work provides professional development for instructional and assessment reform, using the framework for Authentic Intellectual Work, originally developed by Fred Newmann, Bruce King, and colleagues at the Center for Organization and Restructuring of Schools, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Their mission is to fundamentally transform the quality of student learning through teacher professional development by using the AIW framework to foster deep reflective practice-with profound respect for the work and for the people doing it.

She is associated with programs such as Learning Forward, NCSS, ASCD MN Learning Forward, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and CEHD Alumni and the Student Networking Group. In addition, Dana has had research published, titled Midwestern Magic: Iowa's Statewide Initiative Engages Teachers, Encourage Leadership, and Energizes Student learning- Journal of Staff Development.
