Career Colleges At Oxford International Career Colleges, we specialize in providing career-focused qualifications that help international students progress towards university education or to gain valuable work experience. To address the growing need for qualified care professionals in the Halifax, Nova Scotia region, we offer the Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) program. Additionally, we have recently launched a Hospitality Management program in Vancouver, in partnership with the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute, which equips students with practical skills and knowledge needed to excel in various positions within the hospitality industry, including paid work placements.
The Hospitality Management Diploma program provides students with practical knowledge and skills in various positions in hospitality operations. The AHLEI curriculum topics include an introduction to the hospitality industry, room division operations, food and beverage operations, marketing, accounting, and supervision.
The Continuing Care Assistant program is designed to teach students everything they need to work in Nova Scotia in this challenging role, supporting clients in their daily activities. Alongside their studies, students are provided a guaranteed work placement to embed this knowledge. Caregiving graduates are dedicated professionals committed to enriching the quality of life for people of all ages, but many support seniors, as elderly clients are often most in need of support. Graduates from a CCA program offered at Oxford International College Halifax are eligible to apply for a work permit as a CCA through the Nova Scotia Nominee Program, International Graduates in Demand Stream.

English Language Virtual Classroom Our Virtual Classroom English language course is designed to help you improve current proficiencies and practise reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This online course develops all or chosen aspects of English language ability in lessons delivered live by our qualified teachers.

Course Structure Group Classes: Our group classes cater to different English language abilities and are designed to help you improve your English level. Classes are fully online with live sessions of a maximum of 12 students taught by highly experienced teachers. 1:1 Tuition: Our 1:1 tuition is tailored to your needs and designed to fast-track your English language skills. Students looking to develop a specific area in a short amount of time will benefit from these 1:1 sessions with an experienced English teacher.
