From grand 4x4’s to luxury leisure vehicles, we have tried and tested many of the top motorcar brands available on the market today. Needless to say, when we get the opportunity to test drive something a little different, we are always excited by the prospect. This month, courtesy of Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons, we had the privilege of trying out the new 2017 INFINITI Q60 Sports Coupé. When it comes to motor vehicles first impressions do count and with the new INFINITI, a positive one is delivered. Her silhouette is striking, with graceful sculptural lines highlighting her robust muscular proportions. Both the luxurious and powerful natures of this automobile are on display long before one slips inside. When facing the vehicle front on, it’s sleekly designed headlights make it look as if the car is staring right back at you, daring you to get inside and drive. One instantly recognises the car as an INFINITI as the double-arch 86

grille and the forward arching crescent-cut C-pillars emphasise this car’s dynamic quality. 19-inch aluminium alloy wheels are fitted as standard, with wider wheels at the rear contributing to its aggressive posture. The great first impression given by the exterior is matched within. The low slung, heated seating is comfortable and beautifully designed. Leather stitching on both the upper and lower dash board and door panels contribute to a great finish. The steering wheel also boasts high quality leather and feels just right in your hands, offering a sense of control. A decent sized, soft leather, felt interior, centre console, complete with USB ports is situated conveniently for easy access. The glove compartment is also nicely sized, with felt interior. One touch automatic front windows have been included for your convenience. A standard sunroof is another appreciated feature. The INFINITI InTouch dual screen layout, present in the Q60, has good touch response. Through entering the INFINITI drive mode selector and choosing the direct adaptive steer technology option, one can alter the
