Small Business Month: Celebrating the Backbone of the Economy

Small businesses are the backbone of the economy. They create jobs, drive innovation and provide goods and services to local communities. May is Small Business Month, a time to celebrate their contributions and raise awareness of the challenges they face. Despite obstacles such as limited access to capital and increased competition, small businesses account for over 44% of all U.S. economic activity and employ nearly half of the country’s private workforce. By supporting small businesses, we can create a more vibrant and sustainable economy.
