Welcome to Belmont University’s Mike Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business. At the Curb College, we successfully combine academic experience with real world applications and achieve our mission by implementing innovative courses of study in the entertainment, media and music industries. Our college boasts an impressive faculty of academic scholars, authors, media journalists, entrepreneurs, filmmakers, songwriters, producers, publishers, and recording engineers, and we equip our students with world-class equipment and facilities recognized at the forefront of the entertainment industry. I love to share that I am a graduate of Belmont University with a double major B.B.A. in music business and business management. I spent over 30 years on Music Row in Nashville serving as both a record label and music publishing executive, and I feel the education I received and the relationships I made at Belmont University allowed my career dreams to come true. It is an honor to now serve as dean, and I am convinced that I am here because it is my time to give back, share my real world experience with our students and ensure that we continue the great Curb College tradition of combining classroom learning with a mixture of unique, hands-on opportunities.
