BD 448 Get even more

The BD 448 combines the three corner posts of your success: economic production, cost reduction, and quality assurance. The longest semi-automatic rotor spinning machine in the world Benefit from up to 448 spinning positions with maximum productivity. With the new BD 448 you reach take-up speeds of 165 m/min, even using the full length. There’s scarcely a better way of utilizing your spatial capacity. Joint Spinning In: peak efficiency achieved in just 10 minutes No other rotor spinning machine in this class can start up faster than the BD 448. With its unique synchronous piecing system Joint Spinning In, your machine attains full productivity in a maximum of 10 minutes at the touch of a button.

High flexibility Spin any yarn in the accustomed quality with a high level of productivity on one and the same machine, even coarse yarns up to Ne 1 (Nm 1.7). You have a leading European yarn quality monitoring system on board in Corolab Q. The integrated Fancynation fancy yarn device produces slub yarns on up to 448 spinning positions. And for processing difficult raw materials the spinbox is equipped with an optimized ceramic sliver feed. Reproducible package quality The packages wound on the BD 448 leave nothing to be desired. The optimized winding head and the electronic yarn guide E-Cam ensure maximum quality and reproducible settings.

Save energy With the BD 448, you save up to 10% energy compared to former BD generations. Thus you save many kilowatt hours every year. Lower staff requirements Deploy your staff more efficiently. Cut staff costs by up to 7% in comparison to a machine with 416 spinning units. In addition you can reduce manual cleaning expenditure. This is also supported by the new ergonomic design of the spinbox, the LEDs on each spinning position, and the new signal lamps.
