Meet the author Chukwudumebi Oluwabusayo Onoh, a 21 year old Nigerian woman who, in the course of studying communications, became aware of the power dynamic in the global the media space which puts people like her at a constant disadvantage. She is passionate about her telling our stories as authentically as possible, and is intentional about normalising us because she believes that things will only be ideal once we are normalised, not necessarily mystified.

She believes she has much to learn, unlearn and relearn. She believes that posing the question ‘why?’ is not always indicative of disrespect and defiance to ones cultural or religious sensibilities. Instead, it allows expansion and growth; so she continues to ask why, as she reads the Holy Bible that, at first glance, seems antithetical to who she thinks she is; as she takes in art, as she pens words down, as she experiences life, she asks, ‘why?’ And when she finds the answers, she lets her roots grow deeper so she can be part of the solution; yet when she does not find the answers, she finds peace because she trusts in the one who is the answer- The Truth, The Way and The Life.
