High Tech Awards
from Octane Impact Report 2023
by Octane
Octane moved its annual High Tech Awards to AV Irvine in 2022. It was a spectacular evening, celebrating the best and the brightest in Orange County. In addition, Octane celebrated its 20th anniversary at the luminary-studded High Tech Awards on September 29th paying homage to the individuals and companies that have made Orange County a hub of medical and technology innovation. Nearly 500 attendees gathered at AV Irvine to celebrate top innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders across 10 award categories and recognize the visionaries who founded Octane two decades ago.
Special recognition was given to the Octane Founders, Jim Mazzo, Michael Mussallem, Dwight Decker, Tom Moebus and Matt Massengill, as we thanked them for providing the original vision 20 years ago and continuing to be champions ever since! The event highlighted the Octane Impact Fund, a fundraising campaign that builds off Octane’s legacy of tech innovation and growth to create generational impact in Orange County for decades to come.
