Daloratta Ferlo ‘Della’ Wilson OCEAN PINES — Daloratta Ferlo “Della” Wilson, 59, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2012, at her home. Born in Rome, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Henry Ferlo and Isabella Daloratta Ferlo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Francis Wilson, in 2012. She is survived by her D. Wilson son Joseph “Joe” Wilson of Ocean Pines. Also surviving are brothers, Thomas Ferlo and his wife, Patricia, of Rome, N.Y., Sen. Jim Ferlo of Pittsburgh and Leo Ferlo and Sue Farmer of Trenton, N.J.; sisters, Lyn Ferlo of Pittsburgh, Patricia Thron and her husband, Jim, of Rome, N.Y., and Carol Ferlo of Rome, N.Y.; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friends Paul and Sharon Ziminski of Rome, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Adrian, Frank and Andrea Ferlo. Mrs. Wilson was a graduate of Salisbury University. She had been a real estate agent for many years with Prudential Realty, a member of the Coastal Association of Realtors, a supporter of Diakonia shelter in West Ocean City, and the Worcester County Humane Society. A Mass of Christian burial was held Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Ocean City. The Rev. Stanislaeo Esposito officiated. Interment followed in Evergreen cemetery in Berlin.

Molnar LIBERTYTOWN — William J. “Bill” Molnar, 76, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Libertytown, he was the son of the late Julius Molnar and Irene Massey Molnar. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sally Anne Molnar, and children, Bonnie Mae Evans and her husband, Dr. William Evans Sr., of Baldwin, Md., Julie A. Rooney and her husband, Dr. James Rooney, of Portola Valley, Calif., and Daniel Molnar and his wife Holly of Dacula, Ga. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, Hillary Grace Evans, William “Will” Evans, James William Rooney, Zachary Molnar Rooney, Marcus Johnson Rooney, Abigail Irene Rooney, Rachael Molnar, Andrew Molnar, Alex Molnar and Clara Molnar; a brother, Richard Andrew Malnor and his wife, Nancy, of Libertytown; and a special cousin, Ina Dennis of Berlin. Mr. Molnar had been a building contractor, farmer and poultry grower, master plumber and master electrician. He had been the president of Liberty Builders, Inc. He had served as a member and director of the Snow Hill Advisory Board of the First National Bank of Maryland. He had also been the chairman of the first Electrical Board of Worcester County. He was a member of Faith Chapel Presbyterian Church.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, Nov. 21, at the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin. The Rev. Shirley Evans and Pastor Phil Timmons officiated. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery in Libertytown. A donation in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, Eastern Shore Division, 800 E. Main St., Salisbury, Md. 21804; Faith Chapel Presbyterian Church, 8006 Ironshire Station Road, Berlin, Md.; or Bowen United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 87, Newark, Md. 21841. Raymond C. McAllister Jr. BERLIN — Raymond Clinton McAllister Jr., 83, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at his home. Born in Newark, N.J., he was the son of the late Raymond Clinton McAllister Sr. and Edna Parsons McAllister Quillen. He was preceded in death by his wife, June Carey McAllister in 2007. He is survived by his sons, Steven R. McAllister and R. McAllister Jr. his wife, Helen, of Milford, Del., and Randy McAllister of Berlin; his grandchildren, Michelle McAllister and Taryn McAllister; nieces, Betsy Clendaniel and Sandy Phillips; a nephew, John McAllister; and brother-in-law, C. Kenneth Carter. He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel G. McAllister and sister, Betty Ann Carter. Mr. McAllister was a graduate of Goldey Beacom Business School in Wilmington, Del. He had worked for Scott and Wimbrow, Inc., in road construction for 31 years

and later owned and operated McAllister Sand and Gravel Company for 20 years. He was an Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. He was a member of Boggs-Disharoon Post #123 in Berlin for more than 60 years, and a member of the Improved Order of Redmen in Fruitland. A funeral service was held Wednesday, Nov. 21, at the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin. The Rev. Dr. Olin Shockley officiated. Interment followed in Sunset Memorial Park in Berlin. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory may be made to the Worcester County Humane Society, P.O. Box 48, Berlin, Md. 21811. Evelyn Louise Hallowell BERLIN — Evelyn Louise Hallowell, 75, of Berlin, died peacefully on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Lindsay Phoebus and Jennie Hughes Phoebus. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Barry Hallowell in 2008. Mrs. Hallowell is surE. Hallowell vived by her sons, G. Scott Hallowell and his wife, Lorraine, of Hanover, Pa., G. Bradley Hallowell and his wife, Jennifer, of Berlin, and Daniel Patrick Hallowell of Kent Island, Md.; as well as five grandchildren. Mrs. Hallowell worked as an administrator for the town of Ocean City. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and a member of the Ocean City Continued on Page 29
