1939-2016 In the late 1960’s, John Pucci aspired to offer fellow fishermen high-grade fishing products. Without the access we have today to personal computers, the Internet and social media, he used what few resources he had and traveled the world to source only the best merchandise for his customers. Through sheer determination and hard work, Pucci Terminal Tackle was born in 1972 and was closely followed by the establishment of G. Pucci & Sons Inc. in 1979.

With a passion to be the best, and refusing to settle for anything less, John set off on another adventure. This time his journey would take him to Japan. John was not one to take no for an answer, and being unsatisfied with the quality of Nylon that was offered at the time, he decided to introduce the first Copolymer fishing line to North America in 1982, and went on to create the first Fluorocarbon coated line. P-Line now offers a variety of high quality, unsurpassed fishing gear worldwide. In 2016, with the endless desire to expand and provide for their customers, G. Pucci & Sons purchased Beckman Fishing Nets and will continue to strive to make the highest quality net on the market, as the founder once did.
