or those of you that I have yet to meet, I am Donna Dunaway the 2015 President of the Ocala/Marion County Association of Realtors® and Broker/Owner of Century 21 Affiliates. It was 24 years ago I moved my Thoroughbred farm to Marion County and started my career in real estate. With 2015 upon us, I look forward to continuing to give back to our community, such as partnering with the CEP and MCBIA for the upcoming Home, Garden and Lifestyle Expo on April 11; the upcoming 7th Annual Chair-ity event, our fundraiser that helps local charities and our yearly grants to our Marion County Teachers. The Ocala/Marion County Association of REALTORS® Community Awareness Committee granted a total of $6,000 to Marion County teachers in 2014! Each year the committee accepts applications for teacher mini grants. Part of the decision process is determining which requests have the ability to impact the most students this year and in the future. On, November 25 Darlene Yonce, association executive; Randy Alvord, 2014 association president; Charlotte Axelsson, committee chair and committee members Larissa Ortiz and John Celebre attended the Marion County School

Board meeting to present the checks to teachers and their principals. In closing, please mark your calendars for April 11. The Ocala/Marion County Association of REALTORS® will be partnering with the Chamber of Economic Partnership (CEP) and the Marion County Building Industry Association (MCBIA) to present the 2015 Home, Garden & Lifestyle Expo at College of Central Florida! The expo will be returning to the Klein Conference Center in the Ewer’s Century Center from 10am to pm. This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever, as three business and leading industry organizations will join together. —DONNA DUNAWAY, PRESIDENT
